We're thrilled to present our annual Pride celebration, ¡Queertástico! a lively and vibrant fiesta de orgullo where bold, loud, delicate, extravagant queer voices take center stage.

Our diverse lineup promises to make ¡Queertástico! an unmissable celebration of our shared humanity, as well as a bold affirmation of the LGBTQIA+ community's resilience and creativity. Through our work, IATI Theater aims to champion LGBTQIA+ representation and raise awareness of the issues affecting these communities, all while spreading joy, love, and hope.

Now more than ever, joy is a revolutionary statement! So come dance, laugh, cry, and celebrate with us at ¡Queertástico!

Featuring

Nia Calloway

Nia Calloway is a multi-disciplinary artist and astrologer who traverses the worlds of theatre, poetry, music, dance, and the healing arts. Through the combination of written word, sound experimentation, and explorative movement, she aims to create spaces of healing and introspection for her audience.

Ashton Muñíz

Ashton Muñiz is an actor, performance artist, activist and emerging producer whose artistic goal is to instill joy into the world by embracing the realities of the present. Recent acting credits include Andrew Rincon's I Wanna F*ck Like Romeo and Juliet, Matthew Lopez's The Inheritance on Broadway, Taylor Mac's 24-Decade History of Popular Music. Ashton has collaborated with various artists and curators thus being featured in their works at museums and galleries around the world. Follow @arshton for more!

Paloma

Make way for the OG chola of New York City, Paloma! As a multi-title holding diva, Paloma is one of the most unique, entertaining, and fashion-forward drag entertainers in all of NYC!

Chico Raro

Chico Raro is a Colombian queer artist who does LGBTQ activism through art. Their performances are involved with Opera, jazz, cabaret, punk and electro disco music.

STEFA

stefa marin alarcon aka STEFA* is a vocalist, composer, and multi-media performance artist born and raised in Queens, NY. Using an amalgamation of punk, experimental pop & classical minimalism with maximalist queer aesthetics, stefa builds worlds that offer a somatic decolonial respite for the misfits & displaced yearning for a sense of home. They have shared their work, spirit, and song with Queens Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Museo Del Barrio, The Kitchen, Ars Nova, National Sawdust, Body Hack and many more.
